The 3.2\" square display has 320x820 RGB666 16-bit full-color pixels and is an \u003cstrong\u003eIPS\u003c\/strong\u003e display, so the color looks great up to 80 degrees off-axis in any direction.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThis version does not have a touchscreen.\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe TFT driver is ST7701S and uses both SPI \u003cem\u003eand\u003c\/em\u003e TTL RGB 'dot clock' data. The SPI is \u003cem\u003eonly for configuring the display\u003c\/em\u003e - \u003cstrong\u003eyou cannot draw pixels over SPI\u003c\/strong\u003e! Also, despite having a 40-pin connector,\u003cstrong\u003e it does not have the same pinout as standard 'rectangular' 800x480\u003c\/strong\u003e (4.3\", 5\" or 7\") or 480x272 (4.3\") displays. It's a new kind of beast for sure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo make stuff light up you'll need a chip that can perform TTL RGB TFT driving, which means a powerful microcontroller such as the ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM or a computer like a Raspberry Pi (with either direct-DPI connection or an intermediary chip like the ICN6211).
