It is the perfect way to add magnetic sensing to your project. It looks and sounds a lot like the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.pakronics.com.au\/products\/ADA6051\"\u003eDRV5032\u003c\/a\u003e but this version has a latching output.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The sensor has a digital output that goes LOW when a south-side magnetic field is detected, and will \u003cem\u003estay low \u003c\/em\u003euntil a north-side field is detected, then it goes back HIGH. This makes it great for detecting a rotating magnet since you'll get nice clean pulses on the transition from N to S and S to N. However, it's not great for detecting when there's \u003cem\u003eno magnetic field. \u003c\/em\u003eFor that, pick up the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.pakronics.com.au\/products\/ADA6051\"\u003eDRV5032\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe breakout comes with a 3-pin header for breadboard use. This board has a simple plug-and-play JST PH (2mm pitch) 3-pin input connector for solderless use.
