Description
This ADABOX takes its inspiration from our childhoods-weekends spent with computers like the Apple ] [, 286 PC, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Mac Plus, and TRS-80. These machines plugged into TVs and blazed our eyes with 8-bit glory as we played games, typed in programs from magazines, and patiently waited our turn while siblings loaded the latest software from cartridges or floppies. We didn't mind the limited memory, chunky graphics, or bleepy tunes-it was a self-contained electronic wonderland that could do almost anything.
We turned those memories into a new design we call Fruit Jam. Inspired by IchigoJam DIY computer kit, this credit-card-sized computer drives an HDMI monitor and mini speaker, with USB keyboard and mouse input. But instead of running macOS, Windows, or Linux, it's programmable directly-like a microcontroller. That means you can write your own games and apps using interpreted Python scripts that live on the built-in 16MB flash disk-no complex APIs or compilers required.

Who is this for?
Anyone who is interested in learning how to program and build interactive projects, and with access to a modern web browser. That's pretty much the minimum.
You don't need to know a lot of physics or math, and just like an Art Degree isn't required for making art and being creative, you don't need to have a computer science or mechanical engineering degree. It helps if you're comfortable using computers but that's a skill most people pick up through life.
If you know how to program already - great! If not, don't worry, we'll teach you enough to be dangerous, yet effective!

Dispatch time
Unless expressly agreed otherwise with you, we will not commence delivery of an order until we have received cleared payment of the purchase price in full.

Receipt of deliveries
Deliveries to post office boxes are not permitted where delivery is by courier. If delivery is by courier and nobody is available at the delivery address to accept delivery when delivery is attempted then the courier may either:
- leave the relevant parcel at the unattended address (the courier will do so if specified in your delivery requirements); or
- re-attempt delivery at a later time or date, in which case we may charge you an additional re-delivery fee.
Note that if a delivery is left unattended at the shipping address and is subsequently stolen then the theft is your responsibility, not ours.
